FREDDY - FELINE EXTRAORDINAIRE
BORN JULY 1983 - DIED FEBRUARY 2000
Freddy was a cat like no other. He had all of the great attributes of all cats: he loved unconditionally, was your friend when you were sick or just "down", and gave so much in companionship. But Freddy was much more than your average cat. He brought us humor, so much humor that watching him was better than watching T.V. many nights! You could put sunglasses on him and take his picture (we did!), you could press on his belly lightly with your foot while he laid on the floor and he would "quack" for you. He would always greet you at the door with a story to tell you, which, by the way, he was FULL of stories to tell you whether you wanted to hear them or not! He might even growl or spit at you, and we laughed at him, because it meant nothing...just Freddy's way of talking. The very next minute he would be purring in your arms giving you lovins. He did what he wanted, when he wanted and how he wanted. But what he wanted most was your complete attention...ALWAYS. He didn't care what you did to him as long as he got attention. We even gave Freddy a "pure bred" name later on, 'cause we thought he deserved it: Gaisser's Supreme Punk of Indy - Frederick Von Kitty Kitty Woomperdinkus. He came to us as a 2 week old kitten born of feral wild cat parents, and turned into the best cat in the whole world.
Freddy did so many funny, wonderful things, it's hard to put it all into words here in one sitting. But suffice it to say that my mom and I will miss him very, very much. He brought so much joy into our lives, he can never be replaced with another.
I love you Freddy, you old "potatohead, punk, brat cat"....I'm going to miss you so very much. You are in my heart, and my memories forever.
Thank you, everyone, for reading this. It is helping me with closure. I hope this has given you at least a glimpse into my life with this extraordinary cat.
